Ever text or e-mail the wrong person? One time I texted (I thought) my son that I'd be there to pick him up in an hour, to which my friend who shares the same name as my son responded with a confused "huh?" because he lives in Chicago. Oops. Another time I received a direct message from a coworker commenting on one of my social posts that clearly was ripping on me. Pretty sure that was meant to be sent to someone else LOL!
We’ve all made stupid mistakes, like sending a text or e-mail to the wrong person or mistaking a stranger for someone you knew. A new survey will make you feel better about those common errors. Most people say they make a stupid mistake at least once a week. They include attempting to unlock a car that’s not yours, getting on the wrong bus or train, forgetting to silence your phone and it goes off, dropping a book in the bathtub and putting in laundry and forgetting to add detergent. Of course, if no one else sees it, that’s one thing. But too many times, it happens in front of family or co-workers…and all you can do is laugh at yourself.
