Ever think about choosing cabernet over cardio? After all, wine can take the place of a therapist or cravings for something sweet. And according to a Harvard study, it’s part of a good weight loss diet. Healthy women who drank a glass of wine on a regular basis had a 70% less chance of gaining weight compared to women who don’t drink it. They say red wine increases hormones that burn fat. But they also caution that drinking more than a glass or two will have the opposite effect, because your body will start storing the extra calories.
