Have Your Heard Of This New Breakup Term Called “Quiet Dumping"?

“Quiet Dumping”...it’s basically a new version of ghosting but sneakier.

Instead of just disappearing, the person slowly pulls back: less texting, less intimacy, fewer real conversations.

If you’ve ever done that... there’s a name for you now, a quiet dumper!

But the twist is, they don’t officially break up with you... they’re hoping you notice and end it…so they don’t have to.

It leaves the other person feeling confused, second-guessing themselves, and stuck in this weird limbo.

What’s wild is people usually do it not because they’re cruel, but because they don’t want to deal with the awkward breakup talk.

This is tied to “quiet quitting” at work... like emotionally checking out without saying it.

If it happens to you, the advice is to trust your gut, bring it up, and if they still won’t engage…then peace out! What choice do you have at that point!
