OK, I’m curious about your thoughts on a new trend called micro-retirement.
What Is Micro-Retirement?
It’s stepping away from your job for extended breaks.
Rather than waiting until retirement age, you integrate breaks and sabbaticals throughout your career.
So you work for a few years…save money…then quit...or micro-retire. You take time for yourself, travel, and return to work when you’re ready (or run out of savings)
The idea is to break the cycle of burnout…we all saw our parents work, work, work their whole lives…and it doesn’t look that appealing.
The pandemic reshaped attitudes toward traditional career paths…and many are prioritizing flexibility, personal fulfillment, and well-being.
Could you ever see yourself doing this?
