Some people are doing Dry January…Tanya is trying to be active every day this month. Well a trend that had really caught on this year is “No Buy 2025”…one that might feel impossible for shopaholics like me.
· The No Buy challenge basically means cutting back on spending, specifically when it comes to all non-essential purchases like... new clothes, makeup products and perfumes, books, furniture, ordering DELIVERY and more.
· The obvious benefits of course are saving money, stopping overconsumption, and freeing up money to pay off debt.
· Some less obvious advantages include bettering the environment and improving mental health.
· Inflation is a real thing and this trend makes perfect sense to me for this year. But it’s so hard when online shopping is just so easy to do.
· What’s one thing you could tell yourself to NOT BUY?
· Shoes for me or sports team merch. I have dedicated drawers for my Dodger shirts and Chargers shirts. I don’t know if that’s normal?
