If you're expecting to travel, they're predicting the worst traffic days to be today then the Sunday and Monday following Thanksgiving!
Just under 80 million people to head out this year, up from around 78 million last year.
72 million will drive, 5.8 million will fly and 2.3 million with take buses, trains, and other types of transportation.
The worst days to leave? Today from 1:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M.
The worst times to be heading home? Sunday, December 1st between noon and 6:00 P.M. . . . and Monday, December 2nd between 9:00 A.M. and 6:00 P.M.
That Monday is rough, because there's also regular commuter traffic!
The BEST day to drive is next tomorrow, on actual Thanksgiving! There's usually not a ton of traffic on Thanksgiving itself! Which is crazy!
