Police arrested four people in Glendale and Valley Village after state investigators said they committed insurance fraud.
Check this out…they told their insurance company that a bear entered their 2010 Rolls Royce and caused a bunch of damage. This was back in January in Lake Arrowhead.
They even provided video footage to the insurance company, which showed the bear in the vehicle.
But detectives got suspicious when they found two more insurance claims with two different insurance companies, from the same suspects…who received close to $150,000...to cover the damage.
But the insurance companies didn’t let it go...they legit hired a biologist from the California Department of Wildlife to review the mannerisms of this said bear! They said…that’s now how a bear moves!
Detectives got a search warrant and that’s where they found bear suits in their home!
So one of these people put on a bear suit…and destroyed the inside of their own car…to scam insurance companies. Luckily, they did not get away with it.
