This 5-person submarine was built to allow tourists to visit the wreckage of the Titanic….starting at $250,000 each!
It’s not very big…about the size of a minivan. Passengers sit on the floor with limited room to
move around. There’s only one window.
There is a private toilet at the front…and a small curtain is pulled across when it is in use and the pilot turns up some music.
The Titan has around 96 hours of oxygen onboard, and if my math is correct…we’re sadly coming to the end of that oxygen.
And one more thing…they are bolted in from the outside…so even if they were to resurface somewhere…they could still run out of oxygen before they are found.
There is some hope this morning…Sonar picked up banging sounds every 30 minutes – so they busted out some more sonar devices…and four hours later, the banging was still heard.
They have not been found yet…and they think they have less then 24 hours of oxygen left…and honestly, I can’t think about this very long without having a panic attack.
