Are you going away for the spring break, the holidays? or summer vacation? Well, one thing about a vacation that isn’t fun is packing your suitcase.

No matter how many lists you make and how many times you check them, you'll probably end up leaving something behind and either have to do without or purchase something.

Here are some of the top things people leave behind:

· Phone chargers – it’s probably the last thing you pack since it’s charging your phone up until you leave. Try to keep an extra in your suitcase at all times!

· Toothpaste – It’s another one of the last things you use before you leave but it’s not that big of a deal if you forget toothpaste — it’s one of those items that the hotels will usually let you have for free if you ask at the front desk.

· Swimsuit – even if you’re going ok a ski trip, still pack one! The hotel might have a pool or hot tub and you’ll regret it if you don’t.

· Laundry bag – Instead of leaving it in piles or shoving it back into your suitcase with clean clothes just get a cheap mesh laundry bag.

· First aid kit – People never think to pack one! I always forget too but accidents happen no matter where you are. Always pack a small first aid kit with basic items like antibiotic cream, tweezers, eye drops, and other things you could need on the road.

· Sunscreen - It’s easy to forget to pack this essential, which is why gift shops charge tourists a premium for it.

· Umbrella - You never know when the weather will turn and you don't want to get caught in the rain without an umbrella.

· Sunglasses – it’s such an easy thing to forget, especially if you keep your sunglasses in your car.

· Painkillers - It’s always better to have them. Traveling with kids? Be sure to bring pain medication for them also and avoid late-night pharmacy runs.
