This memory is mainly for my millennial ladies… remember back in junior high and high school when we plucked our eyebrows so much until we basically had NONE!
I would spend hours in front of the mirror just plucking and plucking away. That was the look. The thinner and higher the arch, the better!
Well, that early 2000s look is back and we can thank Ashely Graham, Bella Hadid and other celebs for it! They are showing that less is more when it comes to their brows! So do we think that this trend will stick?
So after years of fluffy brows and “laminated brows”, why are we talking about skinny ones now? One could speculate it’s because we’re all just on a 90’s kick right now with everything… fashion, tv even music!
But, before you commit to downsizing your brows makeup artists say hold up, try this…. Use a glue stick (yes, the kind you use for crafting) to cover the top and bottom parameters of brows with glue. Next, coat that area with concealer and powder, then using a sharp brow pencil to draw in thinner eyebrows and see if you actually like what it looks like!
NO CHANCE I GO BACK TO MY THIN BROWS!!! I don’t care how back in style it ever gets!
