A Weird TikTok Trend Has Teenagers Banned From Seeing The Minions Movie!

A bizarre TikTok trend has teenager dressing up in suits and going to see the new Minion’s movie. They call themselves “Gentleminions” and they roll up in suits and bring bananas.

Videos of the trend using #Gentleminions have been blowing up social media.

The problem though… some of them are very rowdy, they throw things during the movie and are basically disruptive. Not gonna lie, I would be mad if a big group of loud teenagers ruined my movie experience with my 4-year-olds.

But some teens are not that bad. One mom pointed out they actually made the movie more fun, and their cheering was enjoyable.

Either way some movie theaters are not having it and even have gone as far as posting signs that read… “Due to recent disturbances following the #gentleminions trend, any group of guests in formal attire will be refused entry for showing of ‘Minions: The Rise of Gru.’ Thank you.”

I wouldn’t ban it…if I were in charge of running a theater. I would have showings for only #gentleminions and separate showings for families with little ones that don’t want to be in the same theater as them.

Though some think the viral trend was meant to mock the film, it actually helped give it one of the best box office openings over July 4th in history
