If Chrissy Teigen is any example of what life will be like as my kids get older and can ask for things - like hamsters or to NOT eat things - then I am really looking forward to how interesting life is going to get.

Chrissy and John Legend's daughter, Luna, apparently wanted a hamster... so Chrissy and Luna went and got a hamster, seemingly without John's permission as she revealed on Twitter that he was "not thrilled" about the new purchase.

Oh but the antics don't even come close to stopping there.

Chrissy then documented everything the hamster did... and the hamster really led us all on the thrill of a lifetime.

First, there was the fact that they really had no idea what to feed Peanut Butter:

It seems they may have figured out what to feed Peanut Butter, but they also had some really... weird... advice on how much to touch the new family pet?

And to be quite honest, all of Twitter was wondering WITH Chrissy... is Peanut Butter like, fine?

We think so!

But as a devoted hamster mom, Chrissy started getting worried when Peanut Butter wasn't drinking out of her water thing... which if you've ever owned a hamster or other rodent, you know their water bottles are pretty strange contraptions.

Oh yeah and then the hamster "got out" which... HOW?! And why are hamsters known for doing that??

Close call.

The hamster got out again.

And this time it was a lot more serious and Peanut Butter was gone for a whiiile. But hey, Twitter came to the rescue and gave Chrissy all the tips on how to get Peanut Butter back! One being, oddly, with a plate of peanut butter.

But have no fears. The hamster was finally FOUND after 12 hours of searching. And she and Chrissy became BFFs, even though she had caused a lot of work for Chrissy.

Ah, parenthood. Never a dull moment.
