It's been two days since the cast of The Hills reunited at the MTV VMA's with some very important news: the show will be returning to MTV for a reboot with much of the original cast members!
While the internet has been buzzing with excitement and people questions "will I or will I not watch the reboot?" we have learned that unfortunately, two of the show's original biggest cast members will not be returning.
Lauren Conrad is focusing on her fashion line and other aspects of her career, and is happy being out of the spotlight with her family (I mean, how adorable is her 1-year-old son Liam?!)
The other cast member not slated to return is Kristin Cavallari, due to her contractual obligations with E! where she has her own reality show, Very Cavallari.
Kristin also lives in Nashville, runs her own business and has three children, so it's not shocking she wouldn't be on the new The Hills reboot.
But one cast member who just announced they WILL be returning?
Whitney Port!!!
Whitney took to Instagram to just casually share that she's going to be in the new reboot and I am SO excited to see where she's been over the years and get a glimpse into her life as a new mom!
Whit dropped the news with a simple throwback photo of her first ever VMAs look, and joked that maybe on the reboot they will let her out of the fashion closet.
If you remember, Whitney is no stranger to reality TV as she had her own spin off show, The City, following her move to New York City after she left The Hills.
Since leaving reality TV, Whitney has gotten married to Tim Rosenman and welcomed a son, Sonny, who turned 1 in July.
The Hills reboot is also reportedly in negotiations to get heartthrob Brody Jenner to come back and join the returning cast made up of Heidi and Spencer Pratt, Audrina Patridge, Jason Wahler, Justin Bobby, and Stephanie Pratt.
This is going to be GREAT.
