Their love story has been a pretty classic case of on-again, off-again... but are Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom back to being on-again? (I hope so!)
It seems a hint may lie in something Katy said during her latest concert in Tokyo, Japan.
Before going into her song "Into Me You See" off her latest album Witness, Katy said, "This next song is about being so loved and so seen that you never ever have felt this feeling before."
She then dedicated the song to her "bubbadoo."
Well, hold on, WHO is her bubbadoo? Yeah, everyone was wondering that for a brief moment... however, it had already been reported that Orlando himself had made the trek to Tokyo and was in the audience at the show that night.
Fans went wild on Twitter over the new exchange:
Katy even has a bracelet that says "bubbadoo" on it... so yeah, I think the fan theories might be right!
The lyrics from the song also point to it being about Orlando, since they were definitely together while she was working on the album.
The song says things like:
"Then you came and started digging for a treasure underneath
And you found a better version of me I had never seen"
And:
"I was a ship floating aimlessly
So camouflage was my own worst enemy
But then you came in like a sailor with a heart that anchored me
And every day I wake up grateful I'm no longer lost at sea"
It's a really sweet song!!
Katy and Orlando were first seen together back in January of 2016, and then broke up in February 2017. But they seem to have reconciled earlier this year and have kept their relationship pretty under wraps ever since.
Until now, maybe! Orlando has been freely posting about being in Japan, so he's certainly not hiding the fact that he may have made the trip to see Katy.
I really love these two together. And if the code name for Orlando was any indication, it seems like they may be totally back ON!
