These '90s Baby Names Are About To Make A Comeback

Obviously I have a lot of baby fever right now with the upcoming arrival of my twins - but the rest of the world is kind of in a baby frenzy too, with the third royal baby arriving this spring and Chrissy Teigen's son on the way, not to mention Khloe Kardashian getting ready for her first child just after her sister Kim welcomed her third and Kylie Jenner welcomed her first.

Yeah, there's a lot of babies being born right now!

So have you ever wondered what names are going to be filling the classrooms of these kids as they head to school in 5 or 6 years?

Apparently, there are a lot of '90s names making a come back!

The reason these '90s names are making their grand return? Well, because now '90s kids themselves are having babies of their own, and finally getting to name their child that name they've been saving up since their own childhood.

Let's see which names are set to make a come back, shall we?

Maria. Yes, Maria is a total classic, but the inspiration may also come from West Side Story a famous protagonist, or perhaps if you're into athletics, the inspo comes from Maria Sharipova.

Courtney. Did your mind immediately go to Friends star Courtney Cox? Because you KNOW that was a major influence on '90s kids who may be having kids today. Not to mention Courtney Love who has been a staple in pop culture for years.

Jennifer. Does this one even need major explanation? Some of the greatest Jennifer's had their MOMENT in the '90s and early 2000s when '90s babies were growing up. There's Jennifer Aniston, Jennifer Lopez, and Jennifer Garner. You really can't go wrong with having a Jennifer as your inspiration.

Bradley. This name feels like it was never really used to its greatest potential so maybe now is the time for it to shine. Bradley, not Brad! And obviously people are naming their children Bradley (and again, not Brad!!!!!!) thanks to a fine man known as Bradley Cooper. How could you not want your son to be like him?

Ryan. Yep, this one is making a come back as well, and who's to blame people naming their kids Ryan. SO many icons from the '90s, or people who are icons to '90s babies are named Ryan. Between Ryan Philippe and Ryan Gosling and Ryan Reynolds...

And last but not least, Timothy. You probably don't know many people named Timothy currently, but think about the Tim's in the world - they're the ones also inspiring this name's comeback. For athletes (and Tanya) it's all about Tim Tebow. For country music fans, there's Tim McGraw and of course, there's also rising star Timothee Chalamet

So yep, you heard it here first. '90s names are totally back.

Although, I'm pretty sure none of these names are going to be the names of my babies... but now I'm wondering if I should reconsider?! Naming children is HARD!
