Hilarie Burton Introduces She and Jeffery Dean Morgan's 'Miracle Baby'

Congratulations are in order for Hilarie Burton and Jeffery Dean Morgan!

Hilarie just shared the first photo of their baby girl, who was born in February, and she did it just to make sure that Jeffery Dean Morgan didn't accidentally spill the beans while he was out of town (which he is known for doing, oops!)

Her post included a message to all women trying to conceive, and she detailed how difficult her own journey has been and how she used to cry seeing other women getting pregnant and having babies, when it just wasn't happening for her.

See the adorable photos and read her full message here:

Hilarie shared the emotional story of the first time she got pregnant and how she surprised Jefferey on Christmas with the news, only for them to later lose the baby.

She shared that more losses followed that one, and that she used to open her computer every morning and "grow bitter over the endless parade of celebrities showing off their bumps and babies."

Hilarie, like so many others, said she would "weep" because she felt like people didn't understand that for some women it wasn't so easy.

But then, they got pregnant again.

And Hilarie was scared to celebrate.

"I didn't want a baby shower. I checked her heart beat every day, up until the day she was born."

I actually can really relate to Hilarie's feelings - though it didn't take my husband and I quite five years to conceive, we did have loss and I was more cautious moving forward. I check my twins' heartbeats all the time! It gives me some comfort.

And the end of Hilarie's message is what I also want everyone who has been following along with my pregnancy journey, who may have had struggles of their own:

" I don't want her birth to cause any other woman to weep at her kitchen table. If anything, my wish is that she would restore hope for others. Fertility is a fickle thing. And for the other couples out there who have had dark days, we want to introduce our miracle baby to you and send you our love and support in finding yours."

Hilarie, you could not have said all of this better. You are strong and amazing and this little girl is so lucky to have you as a mom.
