These Are The Worst Passwords Of 2017

There's no denying that it can be a TOTAL pain to remember all your passwords for the countless accounts you have - there's your email, your work email, the Starbucks app, all your social media accounts, and every RANDOM thing you have ever signed up for...

So sometimes it might be tempting to pick something that is REALLY simple to remember.

But you may want to think again if your passwords fall onto the "Worst Passwords of 2017" list... because you're just making it too easy to get hacked.

Check out the list of the worst passwords of this year (and where they stand compared to last year) here:

It's not too surprising that "123456" is the worst password and also unchanged as the #1 spot from last year.

But I do like some people's creativity using "letmein" and "whatever" as their passwords this year. Because, honestly, same.

Another password fail that's also hilarious - number 25: "trustno1"

Here's hoping people change up their passwords this year for a safer, more secure 2018!
