General Mills has announced the return of a 60’s childhood favorite and a new limited-edition cereal.
In celebration of Friends’ 30th anniversary, the brand has announced a cereal that pays homage to the Central Perk Coffee shop. Vanilla Bean Latte cereal is a crunchy flaked cereal with hints of coffee and vanilla for a vanilla bean latte-inspired taste.
They have also announced the relaunch of a cereal from the 1960s Twinkles.
The star-shaped corn cereal, made with vanilla and butter cookie flavors, was a fan favorite back in the day.
The new Twinkles release still features its vintage packaging and elephant mascot whose name was, of course, Twinkles, but there will no longer be stories. Rather, this retro cereal's updated, modernized version will feature a game on the back of the box.
Friends Cereal and Twinkles will be available nationwide at Walmart starting in December.
