'Wonka' Edges Out 'Night Swim' For Box Office Win

A haunted swimming pool was no match for Willy Wonka at the box office.

I'm a big fan of the book and original movie staring Gene Wilder. I also really liked Tim Burton's twist with Johnny Depp. So what did I think of Wonka starring Timothée Chalamet? I thoroughly enjoyed it. If you're not a fan of singing and dancing then you may want to skip it though.

Wonka held on to the #1 spot for the fourth straight week with $14.4 million over the weekend, edging out the new horror flick Night Swim with $12 million.

Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom ($10.6 million), Migration ($10.5 million), and Anyone But You ($9.5 million) rounded out the top five.
