Grammy Award winner, Sam Smith has asked for the assistance of Logic for an amazing version of the song "Pray". It's the 3rd single from his album The Thrill of It All, and the visual is not only stunning, but it makes me want to book another trip to Italy ASAP!
Directed by Joe Connor, it was shot at the beautiful Villa Erba which is near Lake Como, Italy. The song is already beautiful and now it has the visual to match. Interpretive dancers pop in and out of the video, there are creepy masks, and I don't know what to think about the butterflies, but mix in Sam & Logic & it all comes together perfectly.
Sam Smith wrote the song after visiting Mosul, Iraq. When asked about the reason why he felt it was a necessary track to add to the album he said<
"We are all looking around at what's happening in the world, and it is just messed up." "You've got no choice but to look up to the sky and put your hands together and pray for something to happen."
