AWESOME Response Video to the H&M Ad Debacle!

It's yet another idiotic & racially insensitive advertisement from a global brand. Recently, clothing brand H&M posted and advertisement for a child's hoodie that reads, "Coolest Monkey in the Jungle". The worst part about what was on their online catalog, was the fact that the child model is a young black boy.

For many years, the term "monkey" has been used as a derogatory term for people of African descent. TONS of people found this advertisement to be tremendously inappropriate and they took to social media to voice their displeasure:

H&M has since issued an apology saying:

"We sincerely apologize for offending people with this image of a printed hooded top," H&M said in a statement. "The image has been removed from all online channels and the product will not be for sale in the United States. We believe in diversity and inclusion in all that we do and will be reviewing all our internal policies accordingly to avoid any future issues."

Loads of celebrities like Diddy, G Eazy, & The Weeknd have pledged to remove themselves from further instances to work with H&M...but I think this video might be the best response I've witnessed on social media. It's from an artist who goes by the name @CashFlowHarlem, and he TOTALLY flips his verse to the letters H&M mean/stand for something powerful!!! Take a look!!

*****UPDATE******

Diddy has taken a HUGE step to right this wrong, he has offered the young kid modeling the sweatshirt a ONE MILLION DOLLAR CONTRACT to model for Sean Jean!!
