Here's Where Demi Lovato Is On Her Sobriety Journey

Demi Lovato is reportedly "still sober and committed to her sobriety," an insider told Entertainment Tonight on Monday (March 4) in an update on the singer's journey to recovery.

In July 2018, Lovato suffered an overdose that nearly took her life. The star survived the incident, though not without seeking rehabilitation treatment to lead a life of sobriety. The "Games" singer completed 90 days of rehab treatment in October 2018, and was spotted in the public eye the following month, emerging with now-boyfriend Henri Levy at the time.

Last month, it was alleged that Lovato had checked back into a Hawaii rehab facility after the backlash she suffered following the insensitive tweet she posted concerning 21 Savage's immigration arrest. The performer had only recently celebrated her sixth month of sobriety in January.

These days, Lovato resides in a condo near a Los Angeles outpatient facility. Furthermore, the insider notes the "Tell Me You Love Me" artist has cut ties with "everyone on her team and has started fresh." Despite the bumps she's endured during the process, the musician has supposedly managed her recovery for the past 30 days on her own and is still doing well.

As it stands, Lovato's health and career are her main priority, as work has helped keep her motivated to stay in a healthy space. With the recent Jonas Brothers reunion, the source also told ET it's "very much a possibility" she will join the band on tour, though nothing has been confirmed yet.
