Twenty One Pilots Reveal Emotional 'My Blood' Video

Twenty One Pilots celebrated the release of their fifth full-length album, Trench, on Friday (October 5) by releasing the music video for "My Blood."

The alt-rockers stepped away from the Bandito theme that encompassed their "Jumpsuit," "Levitate," and "Nico and the Niners" visuals and told a new, emotional story.

The clip begins with two brothers watching somberly as their father soothes their mother, who's laying in a a hospital bed. The video continues to flip between the boys as kids and as teens—the older brother the rebellious type that likes to smash mailboxes with baseball bats and piss off the jocks, and the younger more shy and sensitive. The narrative builds to a Halloween party, where TOP plays as the house band. The siblings come dressed as skeletons, and when the football players realize it's them, they follow them home and beat up the older brother. The timid one picks up a baseball bat and chases them off, but that's just the beginning.

Watch the "My Blood" video below to find out how the story ends.

Later this month, TOP hit the road for their extensive Banditø Tøur. Aside from the massive tour, Joseph and Dun will also be gracing the stage at The Forum in Los Angeles along with Muse, The Killers, Weezer, Rise Against, Bishop Briggs, and The Revivalists on January 19 as part of iHeartRadio's 2019 edition of ALTer Ego.
