Amazon is adding another service and this time its in the health care business. The company announced that it will launch RxPass, which is a subscription service for customers who have Prime memberships. The new service will be $5 and you'll be able to fill as many prescriptions as you need from a list of about 50 generic medications. Prime members who participate in the program will be able to get discounts of up to 80% off generic medications and 40% off brand-name drugs at more than 60,000 pharmacies around the U.S. Most health insurance programs are accepted. Keep in mind that this program doesn't use insurance and those with government-funded Medicaid or Medicare coverage are not eligible. This service will be available in 42 states and Washington, D.C. at launch.
