As the world is getting back to normal, get ready to eat indoors at Porto's Bakery once again. The bakery's Glendale location will resume in-person dining today. The popular Southern California chain has been opening up store dining areas one at a time as a way to iron out any issues, however the Glendale location has been only been accommodating to-go orders. Co-owner Beatriz Porto said,
"Every time we open one of the stores, people have been so excited to come in, so happy to be able to go inside and to reclaim something that they feel they own. This is their place, this is their home away from home so it's exciting to see that they care as much as we do."
Customers who are fully vaccinated don't have to wear a mask inside, however employees will continue to wear masks. Other Porto's locations include Burbank, Buena Park, Downey and West Covina. The upcoming Northridge location is still being built and will hopefully be open by November.
