SpongeBob SquarePants doesn't have the reputation for being "edgy," but Nickelodeon reps just confirmed to IGN that some episodes will be pulled from streaming services and is now out of rotation for TV. The episodes being pulled are “Mid-Life Crustacean” and “Kwarantined Crab" from season 3. According to IGN, the “Mid-Life Crustacean” shows "Mr. Krabs is having a mid-life crisis so SpongeBob and Patrick teach him how to act young and carefree again. In one sequence, they convince him to take part in “a panty raid,” which involves the trio breaking into a woman’s house to steal her underwear. It turns out to be Mr. Krabs’ mother’s house, though, who berates her son and sends him to his childhood room."
In the episode “Kwarantined Crab,” it was pulled due to "sensitivities surrounding the global, real-world pandemic.” The episode show the Krusty Krab having to go into quarantine after an outbreak of “Crab Flu.”
