Chadwick Boseman Didn't Disclose His Cancer Diagnosis To Marvel!

The death of Chadwick Boseman's was a shock to the world especially when the news broke that he was battling colon cancer for 4 years. According to The Hollywood Reporter, no one at Marvel Studios was aware. Only his family and a handful of people including producing partner Logan Coles, longtime agent Michael Greene, trainer Addison Henderson and '42' director Brian Helgeland knew about Chadwick's cancer diagnosis. Apparently, studio head Kevin Feige was sent an urgent email about Chadwick, but by the time Kevin read the message an hour later, Chadwick had already passed away. Over the past 4 years, Chadwick was filming during and between countless surgeries and chemotherapy so he never told Marvel because he was convinced he was going to beat cancer. He thought he would be able to gain the weight back for 'Black Panther II', he was even getting ready to prepare for the movie this month before going into production in March.

Marvel Studios is currently processing the grief of losing a loved one, an actor beloved and respected on and offscreen. Disney hasn't made an announcement regarding plans for "Black Panther II" and any planned appearances for Chadwick King T'Challa, is said to be focusing on paying tribute to the late star rather than developing plans.
