Golden Road Brewing Is Having Adoptable Dogs Deliver Your Beer!

While we're all in quarantine social distancing, you might be ordering food and groceries to your house so you don't have to leave. Well Los Angeles' Golden Road Brewing found the perfect way to deliver beer all while helping a local dog rescue by trying to find them a new best friend. In honor of National Dog Day on Wednesday, August 26th, Golden Road Brewing will have adoptable dogs deliver beer to customers' doors. Golden Road Brewing is teaming up with Wags & Walks dog rescue, which is also celebrating 10 years of helping dogs find their forever homes to make this all happen. For a $50 donation, 100% of it will go to the rescue, Golden Road will deliver two six-packs of its Hazy Pup IPA, a discount code for a future purchase from the brewery, and "more fun surprises." Since the dog will be available for adoption, you'll be able to have some "puppy playtime" with your order. The deliveries will take place on from Thursday, August 27 through Saturday, August 28 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. in select neighborhoods.

Here are the neighborhoods available for deliveries on each day:

  • Thursday, August 27: Echo Park, Silverlake, Los Feliz, Elysian Park, Atwater Village, East Hollywood
  • Friday, August 28:Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Century City, West Hollywood, Pico-Robertson
  • Saturday, August 29: Studio City, North Hollywood, Van Nuys, Sherman Oaks, Encino, Tarzana, Burbank

You can sign up for Golden Road's doggy beer delivery service at HazyPup.beer. If your neighborhood day is sold out, on Wednesday, August 26, Wags & Walks will also be hosting a "puppy party" at its Adoption Center in the Sawtelle neighborhood where you can also pick up some cans of the beer.
