Once the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention announced the need to wear face masks to help slow the spread of the Covid-19 coronavirus, a face mask instantly became the fashion accessory you always have with you. You might have seen the photos of Naomi Campbell at the airport wearing a hazmat suit and if you need to travel somewhere, you can now have a hazmat suit too...well at least the helmet part of it. A Toronto-based company called VYZR Technologies specializes in personal protective gear and they just launched a new product called the BioVYZR on the crowdfunding site Indiegogo. It's $250 and it's a futuristic-looking outer layer that resembles the top half of an astronaut’s uniform, with anti-fogging “windows” and a built-in hospital-grade air-purifying device. The first batch is set to be delivered by the end of the month.
