As businesses started to reopen, more and more people have decided to go out, but it looks like Orange County is going the other way. Four popular OC restaurants have closed their doors again amid the jump in coronavirus cases including: HQ Gastropub in Huntington Beach, The Boiling Crab in Santa Ana, Javier's in Newport Beach, and A Restaurant in Newport Beach. Three of these four restaurants temporarily closing their doors is due to COVID-19 cases discovered among employees. A Restaurant posted on Instagram that they are undergoing deep cleaning, sanitization and testing of staff. The Orange County Health Department is currently working with Javier’s because at least one possibly more employees have tested positive for coronavirus and they plan on reopening on July 1 after deep cleaning and testing. Restaurant guidelines currently make it mandatory for employees to wear face coverings, but customers don't have to wear a mask.
