Yesterday, we talked about how several malls across Southern California have opened their doors so you can finally shop inside and this weekend Westfield malls is following suit. The Century City mall is the first location to reopen this Saturday. Culver City, Sherman Oaks, Santa Anita, Topanga and Valencia will follow Century City's actions and open up next Wednesday. Of course, there will be modified hours 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and between noon and 6 p.m. on Sunday. There will also be enhanced safety measures to slow the spread of coronavirus such as, social distancing of at least 6 feet, face coverings, crowd size will be limited, and frequency of cleaning measures will be increased.
Westfield’s vice president of Shopping Center Management, Molly Unger said in a press release,
“We are very excited to welcome the Los Angeles community back to our centers. As we take this next step towards recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic, our focus is on working with local officials to ensure a healthy, clean and safe environment for our customers, tenants and employees.”
