Rolling Stones drummer Charlie Watts will likely miss the U.S. leg of the band's upcoming "No Filter Tour."
According to several online reports, a Stones' spokesperson said that Watt is “unlikely to be available” after recently undergoing an "unspecified" but “completely successful” medical procedure.
According to Variety the statement says, “Charlie has had a procedure which was completely successful, but I gather his doctors this week concluded that he now needs proper rest and recuperation. With rehearsals starting in a couple of weeks it’s very disappointing to say the least, but it’s also fair to say no one saw this coming.”
Drummer Steve Jordan will be filling in for Watts, and the tour is set to kickoff on September 26th.
