For whatever reason, it seems that what people post on social media is becoming quite a thing.
In the last few weeks, I've noticed an uptick in stories about:
*Bosses checking social media accounts to see what employees are doing - and when - and where - they're doing whatever they're doing while working from home.
*People posting complaints about businesses, customer service, housing and more which lead to backlash, especially if the businesses are doing business with the employer of the social media poster.
*People who are shaming other people for not wearing masks, not getting vaccines, etc.
So, it got me thinking about things we should never be posting on social media... and here are a few examples of things to NOT post if you want to keep your life calm, content and whatnot:
*Don't complain about your job, hours, workload or whatnot because chances are good if your boss clicked "LIKE" it probably wasn't because they liked the post... but rather, they probably wanted you to know they've seen it.
*You probably shouldn't pop off on your ex because your NEXT might not be okay with you being so open/public about things.
*It's probably not smart to post when you are on vacation... because that's like telling the world that you are out of town and if someone wants to come snatch your stuff... you won't be around to actually save your stuff.
*I saw one person on Reddit say you shouldn't brag, but, others may say social media is all about self and such... so is it bragging if you post about yourself on your social media page? I mean, I get that bragging may be in bad form... but should NOT BRAGGING be on the list of things you should never post on your Facebook page?
*Don't post anything mean. That goes without saying. The "Golden Rule" is a thing, right?
