Oh dear people... this is going to be good.
Before the COVID/SARS came... life was okay. We had things. We went to see things. We traveled. We lived life...
... but the pandemic changed things. Introduced us to different things about ourselves. Changed us.
I had a conversation today with someone who told me that she felt the "people who went into this pandemic one way aren't coming out of it the same way."
We've been forced to be alone. To stay inside. To go from extroverts to introverts. To live... scared. To hide. To embrace afraid as normal.
Now, normal is back. Some things are going back to normal, but other things are forever changed.
That's why DEAR EVAN HANSEN: THE MOVIE is so important. We're all EVAN now. We're all facing our fears, all at once. What will we do? What will tomorrow be like?
The preview for this movie dropped today... and it's so good.
At the same time, I hope the cast on Broadway - including Jordan Fisher as Evan Hansen - return to their roles after life gets back to being "safe..." He brought something so dynamic to the role... including a voice which transcends.
I'm biased. I guess.
Anyway, watch this and let it move you. And you... will be found.
