Ladies and Gentlemen of Arlington, NOVA and surrounding areas...
Your water... could be tasting weird... coming up. It might even have an extra kick... now.
The US ARMY CORPS OF ENGINEERS have made a switch to the aqueduct which provides water to DC, Arlington County and Northeastern Fairfax County in Virginia. Now, they're using some sort of chlorine so they can flush the pipes and make the water flow... better.
They'll be doing this through mid-May. Which means the water will smell different. Taste different. But won't be different. Because while you may notice it... it will be harmless. So drink up!
