@COSTCO: One of everyone's favorite things is making a comeback!

Normal... is coming.

Now that the world is entering a post-COVID mentality, it's time for things... to get back to normal.

Just this week, I hit up a "TACO TUESDAY" buffet at a grocery store. Did I get the COVID? Well, my results from this morning say NOPE.

For those keeping track, that's 15 tests. 15 negatives. All since we've been asked to test for whatever reason. Anything for the numbers, I guess.

Well, COSTCO is bringing back the FOOD COURT!

It's a legendary place for good grub... CHEAP!

On the national TV AM SHOWS this week, COSTCO execs called the food courts "secret weapons" and they are. Not having 'em has hurt, but now, with some social distancing, some mask stuff and some cleaning protocols in place... science has shown we can bring these back without people having to fear getting some sort of sick.

Now, of course, anything can make anyone sick... but grocery stores never closed. COSTCO never closed. These "FRONT LINE" places stayed open and did what they did... and COVID didn't reap havoc on 'em... so... is it time?

They're saying YOU BET IT IS... and so should we?

Let's find out. Why not? We've been - so-called safe at home for long enough* aside from the times we went to do what we wanted to do science and #COVID rules be damned - right?

Oh. No? Well, that's on you. COVID choices are highly personal...

LOL!

Here's the breakdown...

Costco diehards, don’t fret: The beloved food court, known for its $1.50 hot dog and soda combo and giant menu boards, is coming back to life. Costco shut down seating areas in food courts when the pandemic spread through the United States last March. It pared back the menu to hot dogs and pizza for takeout only. Signs of life started to emerge in the summer when the chicken bake returned. Now, the return to normal is gaining steam. Costco recently began adding back ice cream and smoothies to the menu and is bringing back tables and chairs in stores that have outdoor seating areas. The company also is bringing back churros to the menu and plans to resume indoor seating as more states loosen COVID-19 safety restrictions.
