#JOBS: Would you take a PAY CUT to work at one of these companies??!

It’s no secret that the younger generations love their money. Let’s not forget about our bulging avocado budgets and all that cash we made in GameStonk. But a new study has found Gen Z and Millennials are willing to give up a cut of their green to work at a company if they’re going green.

According to researchers from the Hiroshima University, younger adults are serious about sustainability and they’ll gladly put their money where their mouth is to prove it. In fact, over half of the survey said they’d be willing to take a pay cut to work at a more sustainable company.

The study also asked the 18-30-year-olds if they would accept a higher salary at a company who showed no concern for sustainability and only 28% said they would accept the offer.

· So businesses, if you want to keep Gen Z and Millennials around you’d better hop on board the sustainability train but here’s the thing. That term actually casts a wide net. Besides addressing climate change, this also means things like ending poverty and hunger, promoting gender equality, and providing clean water and sanitation.

· These are all of the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals that they’re aiming to achieve by 2030. This is also coincidentally when Gen Z and Millennials will make up the majority of the world’s workforce.
