#FACEBOOK: Here's how to know if your data was breached in massive leak!

HACKED.

It's just one thing after another with social media and your privacy these days.

Over the weekend, we learned over HALF-A-BILLION users of FACEBOOK had their private information, as in, names, addresses, phone numbers, dates-of-birth, location, and more, BREACHED and posted to the web, leaving you, your family, your loved ones, your home, your credit, your... well... PERSONAL LIFE... exposed to those who might want to use your data to steal your identity... or worse.

Yeah, it's sort of a big deal.

How big? Well click here. It's that big.

Now, the data dates back to 2019, which isn't that long ago, so you probably need to think about what you were doing online at the time. And sure, things change, but, data has this way of predicting changes, even when the data says things have "stayed the same."

So, if you want to check to see if you've been compromised, news outlets report today that you can use the website haveibeenpowned.com and your email to see if your email was among the data stolen.

The catch is, it's just your email. And, as CNN reports "you've got less than a half-percent chance of showing up on that website" even if you've got abot a 20 percent chance of being hacked if you have a Facebook account.

As is its way, FACEBOOK is being somewhat coy on the whole issue. News reports this evening say the company has not make any statement when asked if they'd be developing a way to tell who has had what data breached.

So - you want to check your stuff out now? Click here for the site referenced above.

And good luck. Might be a good time to lockdown some of your data which is out there... with so many social sites in play today, the information anyone could glean about you is staggering... and it goes without saying that you might want to consider just how safe you are... online.
