#STALKERS: Here's how to know you are being STALKED by a STALKER CREEPER!

The term “Facebook stalking” gets thrown around a lot in terms of a future employer - or anyone else - checking out your profile or even simply scrolling through a friend’s account, but let’s not forget there are some real creepers out there.

If you’re worried about your cybersecurity on Facebook, here are some red flags to look out for.

● Friend Requests. If you’ve been hit with a friend request by someone multiple times, with multiple profiles, that’s a huge red flag. This person isn’t trying to connect with you to let you know you’ve secretly won the lottery. They’re paying too much attention to your Facebook page and you’ll need to really lock down your page until they finally take a hint.

● Your Friends List. If you’re worried that someone from inside your existing friends list is creeping on you, click on your profile and check out the selection of friends Facebook displays as a preview for you. That’s not randomized. Those are the folks who you’ve either interacted with recently or who have checked out your page. Creepy right?

● Old Photos. We’ve all accidentally liked a photo we didn’t mean to but there’s a huge difference between someone liking a picture from last week, and someone liking one of your beach vacation photos from a decade ago. And then like another one the next day… Trust your instincts on this one and smash that block button.

Bottom line, encourage those who suspect they're being creep-stalked by whomever - even if they are a friend or colleague of someone else or whatnot, to call 'em out. Stand up for who you are! This way you'll be free, safe and the creeper stalker will know who is in charge!
