Roses are red, violets are blue, have you bought your Valentine a gift yet, or better yet have you bought two?
Finder.com’s latest Valentine’s Day survey found that 32.9 million Americans plan to buy a Valentine’s Day gift for more than one partner. Men are more likely (20.07%) to purchase a gift for more than one partner than women (6.36%).
Some key facts and figures from their survey:
- Gen Z is most likely to shop for more than one romantic partner (22.16%)
- 36.55% of consumers will shop for their Valentine’s Day gifts on Amazon, beating out brick and mortar stores (36.37%), DIY gifts (16.48%), and other online retailers (10.6%)
- 82.3. Million men will buy a Valentine’s Day gift opposed to 79.5 million women
- Millennials are expected to spend the most on their Valentine’s this season of love (9.9 million)
- Valentine’s Day shopping is expected to hit $50 million, with $27.9 million being spent on gifts and $21.9 million on activities
