on Reddit recently asked how other women respond to their S.O. checking out other girls in public, here’s what they had to say.
- Trust your partner - One user says she doesn’t care if he notices someone because he’s loyal and “attractive people exist and there’s no shame in noticing them.”
- Try complimenting the other person - When one woman feels insecure seeing another woman with beautiful hair or some other attractive feature, she’ll compliment that thing to “take power out of” her insecurity.
- Take the way he’s doing it into account - One Redditor points out that it’s all in the way it’s done. When her ex used to see a pretty girl go by, he’d sit back in his chair, cross his arms, and stare at her as she passed and that was embarrassing for her and not cool of her ex.
- Don’t make it a huge deal - For one couple, when he noticed that she noticed him see an attractive girl, he apologized to her. But then she eased the tension by joking, “it was just a look, do I have to apologize for checking guys out too now?”
- The way it happens is really important - One user explains that if her man is just observing someone’s hair or how tall she is, it’s not a big deal. But she says she wouldn’t want him staring at someone’s boobs and if he does, she prefers he keep his thoughts private.
- Do it with your partner - At least one Redditor admits she checks out women with her S.O. She even tells him when she sees a girl with a nice butt and they do the same with guys, she says it helps him know it’s a momentary thought and it’s gone as soon as they pass by the person.
- Remember that it’s only natural - And probably our favorite response comes from the user who’s realistic about her partner checking out someone else. “I don’t expect him to stop noticing attractive people because we’re together,” she explains. “He’s married, not dead.”

HERE WE GO... THE TOP BABY NAME TRENDS FOR 2019 ARE HERE!
While some baby names will always be popular, every year parents attempt to find new inspiration when it comes to naming their tots, and the website Nameberry believes they know what types of names will be hot for 2019.
The site has come out with a list of the hottest trends in baby names for the New Year, and some of them may just leave you shaking your heads.
Baby naming trends for 2019 include:
- Global Names –People are looking for original choices with deep roots and diverse origins, like Acacius, Cyrene, Jedda, Niabi, Walken and more.
- Nonbinary Names – More parents want to raise their kids free of gender stereotypes, so they pick gender neutral names like Campbell, Finley, Journey, Laken, Story or Royal.
- East – Names inspired by Eastern religions and non-European mythology are gaining popularity, including Asherah, Bodhi, Lakshmi, Raiden and Zen.
- Muted Hues – Naming kids after colors is still popular, but parents aren’t necessarily looking for bright colors. Instead they are going for things like Ash, Gray/Grey, Lavender, Mauve and Ivory.
- Rare Gems – Like Emerald, Garnet, Onyx, Peridot and Sapphire.
- Old-school Nickname Names for Boys – Like Billy, Ace, Buddy, Jimmy, Johnny and more.
- The Letter “F” – More people are picking names that start with “F,” including Faye, Felix, Fern, Frankie, and Frost.
- Three Letters – Names with just three letters seem to be the trendiest, like Hal, Liv, Rio and Van.
- Animalia – People will continue to name kids after animals, including Hawk, Bear, Falcon, and Tiger.
- Celebrity Surnames – Celebs are still influencing names, with the site seeing a trend in picking last names of celebs for kids, like Beckham, Jolie, Lennon and Bowie.
- The Vowel “U” – Expect a lot of names featuring the vowel “U” including Eulalie, Hugo, Jude and True.
- Em-Names – Including Emory, Emerson, Emily, Emma, Emmett and more.

FLYING SOON? WELL, HERE ARE THE SAFEST AIRLINES YOU CAN FLY!
While for the most part flying is pretty safe, some of us still get overly worried about traveling in the sky. It’s totally reasonable to be concerned about an airline’s safety record, and a new report reveals which airlines are the safest ones out there. But if you want the safest, you’ll have to travel to Australia.
AirlineRatings.com, the worlds only safety and product rating website for airlines, has just come out with their list of the Top 20 Safest Airlines for 2019 and once again Qantas is considered the safest airline out there. The site’s Editor-in-Chief Geoffrey Thomas notes Quantas has “been the lead airline in virtually every major operational safety advancement over the past 60 years and has not had a fatality in the jet era.”
The Top 20 Safest Airlines include (in alphabetical order):

- Alaska Airlines

Britney Spears is taking a break from her career to look after her father, who spent the holidays fighting for his life in a Las Vegas hospital.
Brit decided to call a temporary halt to her new Domination residency in Las Vegas after dad Jamie Spears was hospitalized for a ruptured colon that required surgery and 28 days of in-patient care.
She issued a statement saying, “I am dedicating my focus and energy to care for my family. We have a very special relationship and I want to be with my family at this time just like they have always been there for me. I look forward to the time when I can be back on stage performing for all of you."
HALSEY has a new man!
Halsey made it official with British rocker Yungblud.
She Instagrammed a photo of them walking arm-in-arm through London’s Camden neighborhood with the caption (quote) “Now with a cuter filter.”
Yungblud fits the mold of guy that Halsey likes to date. He flaunts a bad-boy persona and describes his image as (quote) “The kid who the mothers used to hate.”
One month ago, Yungblud appeared in Halsey’s Instagram timeline without a mention of their relationship status. But it’s clear the 20-year-old rocker has won Halsey’s heart. For now. (People)
OMG... did you see this dude totally faint during his wedding? Probably thinking that wasn't supposed to happen... but anxiety and such are real things... WOW!
SPEAKING OF MOVIES...
For the third straight weekend, Aquaman will rule the box office. Revenue will exceed $25 million. By Monday, Aquaman will have made more than a quarter-billion dollars.
Mary Poppins Returns will stay in second place with ticket sales near $20 million. Third place seems to be a toss-up between Bumblebee and Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. Both movies might earn $13 million.
The only new release, a horror/thriller called Escape Room, is projected to make $12 million. If it over-performs, Escape Room has an opportunity to catapult into third place this weekend at the box office. (Box Office Mojo)
