SHOWBIZ BUZZ: The STUFF you need to know for Thursday (9/6)

Kim Kardashian visited the White House to discuss her new-found passion: Criminal justice reform.

A White House Deputy Press Secretary said (quote) “The discussion mainly focused on ways to improve the clemency process to ensure deserving cases receive a fair review.” It's a pet project of Jared Kushner and his wife, Ivanka Trump.

Kim adopted two cases for the administration to consider. Chris Young is spending life in a maximum-security prison without the chance at parole for possessing marijuana and half a gram of cocaine. And a death-row inmate, Kevin Cooper, contacted Kim because DNA test results were never submitted in his trial.

Kim Kardashian successfully convinced President Donald Trump to grant clemency to 63-year-old Alice Marie Johnson. She had been sentenced to life in prison on her very first drug offense. She never touched illegal substances, but allowed drug dealers to arrange shipments over her home phone line. (E! News)

He wants $95 MILLION from the comedian, network and CBS, who produced the show, for airing an episode featuring COHEN, in disguise, demonstrating a fictional device which detects pedophiles.
