We're all about new on the show here, and when we find something new, unsigned, with that *something* you can't teach, well, to me, that's what Toby's Test Drive is all about.
Let me introduce you to Brother Sundance.
Rylan Talerico performs as Brother Sundance. He's 18. From South Florida and just finished high school a few weeks ago. He played all the instruments on today's Test Drive song, BLIND and he wrote and SELF-PRODUCED it, too.
BLIND was selected by Apple Music as BEST OF THE WEEK. Spotify added him to their INDIE POP playlist last week, and you can find the song on iTunes.
But... on top of all of that, Rylan and his talent caught the attention of my friend and trusted colleague, Rick Schmidt, former PD of DC/101, G105 in Raleigh and 98ROCK in Tampa... and when he says he thinks he's got something, well, I listen.
