"Dirty Little Secret" by The All-American Rejects Was Originally a Country Song 

 

 

Tyson Ritter from The All-American Rejects recently revealed one of their biggest hits was originally a COUNTRY song. So someone on TikTok just gave it the country treatment.

 

 

He said they wrote their 2005 hit "Dirty Little Secret" as a weird "country acoustic song," then reworked it into a rock song.  

 

 

An alt-country duo in Nashville called MackMartin is going viral after posting a cover last week of what they think it might have sounded like.  (WARNING: The clip at the beginning of their video includes the word "a**.")

Pierce The Veil Reveals 2025 Tour Plans... Woodlands are on the Schedule!

The name of Pierce The Veil’s “I Can’t Hear You Tour” is wrong, since fans will have 46 chances across North America, Europe, and Latin America to hear them live in concert. The San Diego rockers kick things off May 13th in Charlotte, North Carolina, and wrap up the NA portion of their tour in Las Vegas on June 29th. After that, it’s off to Europe, and if there’s one thing that’s sure it’s that tickets won’t last long. Presales started yesterday for the US and Canada dates; here is the link for Houston Tickets!

Happy Birthday to Jelly Roll! He turns 40 years old, which means he is officially OVER the HILL.

 

 

In his honor, here are 10 Jelly Roll facts you may or may not know:

 

 

1. Jelly's real name is Jason DeFord. His mom gave him his stage name when he was younger because he was "the chubby kid."

 

 

2. He was convicted of robbery as a teenager, and possession with intent to distribute when he was 21. In total, he went to jail 40 times for various offenses.

 

 

3. Jelly is a college graduate. He got his GED in jail, and then went on to get his associate degree in sociology from Volunteer State University.

 

 

4. He got engaged and married to Bunnie Xo on the SAME NIGHT.

 

 

5. Jelly has two older brothers. Their names are Roger and Scott.  

 

 

6. His musical influences are:  Johnny CashJim CroceJames TaylorWillie NelsonWaylon Jennings, and Three 6 Mafia.

 

 

7. In addition to his country success, he also has a #1 song in rock music too.  "Dead Man Walking" was on top of the Mainstream Rock Airplay chart in 2022.

 

 

8. His song, "Tears Could Talk", features a duet with his daughter, Bailee Ann DeFord. Jelly also has a son named Noah.

 

 

9. Jelly loves Waffle House so much, that he included their logo and name on his 2013 mixtape called, "Whiskey, Weed, and Waffle House". But the breakfast chain didn't think it was funny and sent him a cease-and-desist letter.

 

 

10. Jelly's guilty pleasure is golf. He said, "I love golf because people drink early in the morning."
