In a revealing interview on "The Joe Pags Show," Doug Wardlow, a former Minnesota state representative and lawyer who ran for Minnesota Attorney General, shared his concerns about Tim Walz and the prospect of him becoming the Vice President after his controversial tenure as Minnesota’s governor.
Wardlow expressed his fear that Walz’s disastrous leadership in Minnesota could carry over to the national stage if he becomes VP. He criticized Walz’s handling of the riots following the death of George Floyd, stating that Walz was sympathetic to the rioters and allowed the city to burn for 72 hours.
Wardlow also highlighted the radical left laws passed in Minnesota after the Democrats took control in 2022, such as providing free healthcare to immigrants and allowing illegal immigrants to obtain driver's licenses. He pointed out Walz’s implementation of the "COVID snitch line," where Minnesotans were encouraged to report their neighbors for COVID violations, calling it a reflection of Walz’s tyrannical mindset.
Discussing Walz's financial management, Wardlow criticized his budgeting, noting that Walz spent $18 billion in Minnesota but can't account for all the funds. He questioned what such management might look like on a national scale.
Wardlow also discussed how Walz and Kamala Harris are trying to cater to Gen Z by portraying themselves as something they are not. He believes that if people knew the real Tim Walz, they wouldn't like him.
Finally, Wardlow speculated on Minnesota's role in the 2024 election, suggesting that the choice of Walz was likely a strategic move by the Democrats to secure the Midwest, but questioned whether it was necessary.
