The Dolphins parted ways with their General Manager Chris Grier who is a black man. This, apparently, was enough for the loquacious Stephen A. Smith to declare racism and Doug is fed up! Doug rips into Smith’s lazy journalism and unsurprising race-baiting when this was a very reasonable decision by the Fins, for glaringly obvious football reasons.
Doug Gottlieb: “He’s forgotten that they fired the coach last time to keep the General Manager. The coach was black, the General Manager was black, nobody said anything about it except for Brian Flores who sued the Dolphins. And so instead of actually talking about what happened, how to fix it, who they should hire, they label the NFL as racist.”
