Dan thinks this particular Super Bowl will be remembered more for the Chiefs losing than for the Eagles winning despite the utter domination of the Eagles defense which wasn’t truly reflected by the final score. A couple of garbage-time touchdowns made the score closer than it should have been and the Eagles should celebrate the true scope of the beat down they administered.
Dan Patrick: “If I’m the Eagles when I get my Super Bowl ring, I think I put the score 40-6. I think they got some, ‘Oh, by the way’ touchdowns; that doesn’t really count. We beat ‘em 40-6. It’s OK, you know, it’s your ring! Be snarky there a little bit as Philadelphia fans have been known to be.”
