Much is being made of the new on-screen graphics FOX used for the time and score during last night’s Super Bowl but Dan wasn’t mad about it despite the negative reactions from fans around the country. And that’s because Dan is old and appreciates the larger print, but even he thought they were just a little too big. The over-50, sight-challenged crowd were the only demographic that thought they weren’t just awful.
Dan Patrick: “As an old guy, I’m like, ‘Alright, I can read this.’ It was a little too big...”
Paul Pabst: “For the sight-challenged?”
Dan: “Yes, yes! For over 50, you’re going, ‘Oh, I can see, I can read everything there. It’s not too cluttered up there.’ It was just a little too large, that’s all, just a little too large there.”
