Earlier this month, Helen Mangham of Lifsey Springs, Georgia, celebrated her 105th birthday. And while her family wasn’t able to throw Helen big bash, the event was celebrated in a big way – as her family arranged to have nearly 10,000 cards sent to her from around the world.
Helen’s granddaughter Pam Vickers wanted Helen to feel honored, so she reached out to family and friends, asking them to send Helen cards.
The request when viral and resulted in nearly 10,000 people sending in cards from all over the world. Amazingly, Helen received cards from all 50 states and about a dozen foreign countries.
And for days, giant crates of cards were delivered by the mail carrier ... so many new friends wishing Helen the best 105th birthday ever. (KPNX-TV)
