Road-trippin’ …Coronavirus has caused lots of people to take their vacations on the road. A new survey by Cooper Tires found that 44% of respondents said they had taken more road trips this summer. And of that 44%, the average respondent said they’d taken two road trips already this summer and have plans to take another two. 43% said they replaced a planned summer vacation with a road trip this year.
Of those road-trippers, the average respondent said they had been to two states or more. And it looks like the trend may stick. 73% of respondents said road tripping is more fun than flying -- and 58% said they plan to continue taking more road trips even when the pandemic is over. (SWNS)
